On the last leg of our trip around Bali we ventured to Seminyak for 3 days
We checked into a hotel in the centre, and then within minutes we were out and ready to explore
We went for a walk around the block, and our attention was instantly caught by a crowded, multi coloured restaurant which has mexican delicacies on offer
This place was a hidden gem, the food was incredible and the staff were absolutely fantastic
The ambiance of the place gave off a relaxed, Mexican vibe, which was why the crowds kept coming
We ended up returning everyday,
and yes, that means for breakfast and dinner
Walking distance from this gem was another amazing place, it was called Ku De Ta
So many people had recommended Potato Head, however after visiting we ended up returning to Ke De Ta everyday as the atmosphere was a lot more laid back, and the sun loungers and cocktails they had to offer were fab
A piece of advice, if you want a sun lounger then turn up before 12
After then the place becomes busy and the chance to get a sun lounger is as likely as winning the lottery tomorrow
However that would be nice wouldn't it
Ku De Ta is right on the sea front, so between drinking cocktails and having snacks, you are able to run to the beach to have a cool down and splash about
Yes even at the age of 20 I still splash in the sea
On the beach front there are locals selling necklaces, bracelets, scarfs and much more, but you are also able to get yourself a good bargain with renting a boogie board for the day
They will initially ask for 50,000 for half an hour for one, but after a little bargaining we managed to get two for 30,000
And off we went
After hours of wave tackling, splashing and destroying we dragged ourselves out the sea and headed back to our sun loungers
The place had begun to pick up as around 6pm the sunset would begin and this was the place to watch it
People came in and out throughout the evening, having pre drinks or enjoying the calm ambiance of the crashing waves and the fantastic music
Honestly the music at the place is AMAZING!!!!
We definitely spent far to much time here, we became familiar to the staff, and on some occasions were even on name terms
Impressive I know
After spending a few too many hours there everything became a blur
Oh Seminyak how I love you
